Blue Hills Location
Blue Hills is a fairly new suburb in those parts of Midrand that still manage to evade excessive development. Properties here are large, horses are stabled close by and the Kyalami Country Club lies immediately west of us, adding further to the country element of the neighborhood.
If you plan to stay, work and play in Midrand then Blue Hills, nestled between Main Road and the N1 is the ideal location. You’re also placed close to the Western Bypass, making getting onto the M1 and N3 so easy.

Midrand as a destination
Midrand is one of the 8 tourism nodes in the Johannesburg area and is right in the middle of the excellent highway links to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Sandton, Randburg and the East and West Rand. Or Tambo is 20 minutes away and Lanseria just 15 minutes.

Blue Hills itself is right next to Kyalami, surrounded by the horse area in a beautiful country setting. Easy access to the Cradle of Humankind, Irene and the wonderful weekend market that happens at Jan Smuts House, Hartebeespoort Dam and the beautiful Magaliesberg range of mountains. Local attractions include Kyalami Race track, the Lippizaner Horses and so much more.
Glen Austin Bird Sanctuary – Home to many birds. These include Crimson Breasted Shrikes, Pied Barbit, Tit Babbler, Black Cuckoo Shrike whilst Crombeck and Bru Bru Shrikes, White and Abdims Storks, Black Headed Herons, Helmeted Guinea Fowl, Rock Pigeon and Black Crows have also been observed.

Kyalami Country Club – An eighteen hole golf course situated in the superb setting in Kyalami.
Kyalami Racing Circuit – International renowned racetrack and is the venue for many of South Africa’s premier motor racing events. The circuit has been used for Grand Prix and Formula One races and has hosted the South African Grand Prix a number of times.
South African Lipizzaners – Every Sunday they perform a classical dressage show to classical music in which they skip, trot on the spot, side step, high step, and jump off the ground and kick with their back legs at the same time.
Gallagher Estate – One of South Africa’s largest one stop conference and exhibitions facilities, of international standing.
